Inova Solutions Boosts XML and Database Compatibility with Introduction of Inova LightLink ™ 5.1
Ongoing Embrace of Open Standards Makes it Easier to Integrate and Share Data Across Customer Service Organizations

Charlottesville , VA – November 16, 2005 – Inova Solutions, Inc. today announced Inova LightLink 5.1, the latest version of its data integration software. Inova LightLink is the core of the Inova Performance Optimization Suite, a family of products designed to simplify the real-time capture and communication of vital information across customer service operations. Inova LightLink 5.1 offers expanded database and XML support, providing customers with greater flexibility in managing their key data.

A vendor neutral platform, Inova LightLink 5.1 allows customers to collect performance and operational data from all of their key systems, providing a global view of operations. In addition to Inova’s off-the-shelf integration adapters to systems from Aspect, Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, Nortel and others, Inova LightLink accepts XML as an input. This capability is further enhanced in Inova LightLink 5.1 with support for XSL transformations, allowing Inova LightLink to directly accept XML feeds without the customer having to reformat their XML schema.

Data integrated with Inova LightLink can be instantly viewed through any number of Inova software and hardware products including wallboards, agent desktop clients and management dashboards. Consolidated information can also be output to an external database where the data can be managed, stored and queried as necessary. With Inova LightLink 5.1, an external database can be populated through either a continuous “trickle feed” for event driven decision making, or through Contract Data Sets – bulk data bundles designed to make the transmission of large volumes of data simpler and more efficient.

Inova LightLink 5.1 also features an improved user interface that makes it faster and easier to configure and manage the database output, with enhanced data field mappings, a streamlined data field selection process, automatic table population based on data source selection and support for stored configuration files.
